5.22 mile run with a break at Smiths
Corey and I did a nice run to the grocery store. I used mapmyrun app with gps and I was very impressed with how well it tracked everything.

3 more miles
3 more miles on treadmill in about 36 minutes. 12 min miles seems like a good pace for me so far. Hardest part was getting up early and out the door.

6mph is a lot harder than 4mph
This one felt like my hardest run so far. I was working on a 10 min mile, which is a jump up from what I usually have done. The quote came to mind, "your body can do it, it is your mind you have to convince." I got a training schedule last night and was surprised that it has me running like 4 days a week! The runs aren't too bad, the worst for me is getting up in the morning earlier.

One hour and 4 miles!
Today was my longest run so far. I did like 4 mph for 3 miles and then like 9:22 minute miles for the last mile. I had to go the bathroom part way and didn't want to stop my time and distance from calculating, so I put the treadmill on slow while I went and knew I had to make up some of that distance when I got back. I was very pleased I was able to do this already!

First two miles!
I wanted to track my journey running my first half and full marathon. Lessons learned. Success, failures and outcome.
I think my current weight is around 235 lbs. I took a picture of the scale somewhere, but I have to find it.
Here is the picture from my first treadmill workout since signing up.
It was 2.29 Miles in 30 min 36 seconds. Slow and steady wins (or finishes) the race. :)
